Thread regarding Follett layoffs

Praying for you guys

I really feel sorry for those of you left at Follett. Between HR and Follett Leadership, the company looks like complete idiots who lack competence, organization and preparedness skills. Paying attention to detail is out of the question. Furthermore, the ability to give direction is questionable when the ability to follow directions non-existent. Abuse of power will continue to hurt this organization, especially if they keep putting people in leadership positions who lack the necessary skills to adequately represent the company.

Wow! Interesting thread. It's easier for those who haven't been discriminated against to let it go.

I bet you are CD. Well, CD, we both will go down swinging. I have taken off my earrings and have my Vaseline ready. You guys no longer get to break the code of conduct and has it dept under the rug as what has happened so many times. Then when people lash out due to the treatment they are titled. Going to HR due to the treatment just gets one a faster ticket out of the door. You for one were angry and venting when you didn't get promoted at first, when you finally did...you became the sellout of the century. Spare me the advice!

You are lucky you no longer have to sit through awkward meetings that are pure torture. From the looks of it, you have moved on to a good company with the advance you wanted, so let it go! Stop trying to "fight the power" because trust me, they are preparing for the fight of their lives.

I have no issue with facts. The culture of a company determines how its leadership from supervisors to presidents treat their employees. That is why sometimes you don't know you got till its gone.

Those under her led by her example because they weren't smart enough to know how to lead on their own or they were scared. Maybe it was a case of being so bullied they went home and kicked the dogs. AS was sadistic and she passed it down.

HAHAHAHA, Anonymous70479. You are assuming a lot when you say "shake it off." Maybe you were in her hip pocket what do I know. But simply stating FACTS has nothing to do with anything other than stating facts (The "girls" comment isn't mine). I have no ax to grind. I have nothing to shake off.

There was a reason her nickname amongst those who had to work with her was Sybil. Real hard ass with those below her and a kiss ass to those above. The Follett way, abuse those who need their job.

I have yet to meet someone who was not extremely shocked after accepting a position at Follett. Shocked FHEG was still in business. Shocked at the inadequacy of director level management and up. Shocked at how archaic the technology and processes are. Shocked by the abusive actions of Director level management and up. Shocked that HR BURIED formally reported offenses. But then A. Southard was a bully.

Going through the FY15 CoC; the video about unethical behavior made me laugh and spit my coffee out. They meant to make the 'unethical' person seem outlandish, but I kept nodding my head going "yep, yep, uh huh, yeah, that's how the company does business."

When you pick with people be it out of jealousy or spite, be prepared for a fight with the right one. You can't just play mini-Gods, especially when your shit isn't tight!! The shit is about to hit the fan and I want all of you sitting in that eCommerce Department to run and tell that with your lying, backstabbing, brown nosing asses!!!

Don't worry, they will get what's coming to them and not a husband or any other family member in the world will be able to save them.

That look you give when your former employer fired you for no reason and even EEOC and IDES knows it:

The sad part is there is no trust left. Managers don't trust supervisors and I am sure this feeling exists at other levels. How can you truly drive your business when you are constantly looking over your shoulder?
