69777, you're the biggest idiot of all. Does anyone for one second think the layoffs were performance related? Too many good people were let go to think performance had much to do with this one. I know a guy who was let go who got an A or B for at least eight consecutive years. Doesn't sound like performance was the main criteria for determining who made the list.

69640, you can suck it. By now I'm sure some of the SLB folks who were let go have landed elsewhere and better off rather than being fearful and working in a cesspool of low morale. Put it this way - if you're still at SLB in 6 months it's only because you suck so bad you can't get a job anywhere else.

I was laid off but today I see that my severance package + PIP Bonus has been deposited into my bank account. No taxes withheld.

dont be gullible. its in your contract. profit sharing was the best in a decade, and your pip should already have been determined in your slp3 review that should have finished
