Amazing how these three little words can say so much about a company. Target used to be such a great place to work - for the little people as well as the Execs. What a shame.

69157 you are a fkn joke. You must be a newly out of school kid with milk still around you're mouth. Successful companies take CARE of their people. Target is not one of those companies. Its a shame. You have no idea what you are talking about and are one of the reasons target IS NOT the best company ever. If they keep hiring idiots like you they will never be.
Liberal arts degree at Target you dont say. I bet that is only second to communication majors
Actually - I'm not a business school grad... More like Liberal Arts who prefers to control his own destiny rather than wait for someone to determine it. If Target gives you a job, then appreciate it. I suspect you'll appreciate it for two weeks, then issue complaints about how you are no longer getting paid enough... rather than prove to Target that you should be paid more. Actually if you don't like the kool-aid, then go to Wal-mart (or any other comany) ... I hear they treat they ALL treat employees well.
69113 is a brains washed and /:;() up business school graduate who has drunk the koolaid!
@ 69111: Huh? Who said anything about Jobs? But I agree... Target SHOULD come before team. They are not in business just to pay employees to sit around. If the team is not doing enough to sell the product and drive profitability, find a new team. That's exactly what the Board of Directors is doing.... (Finding a new team)
Correction... Target's primary purpose is NOT to provide jobs !! It's primary purpose is to sell products and services to customers. Jobs are merely a distribution of work needed in order to fulfill that purpose, you moron. Go look for a handout somewhere else.
Pay less and expect more
I agree. The "team" he refers to is anyone besides the board.
Nothing for the little people, all for the execs. It's medieval.
