Target right now has no credibility. I worked on the Target Canada team at HQ, and was amazed at the amount of money that was wasted. Target totally bungled their introduction into Canada. Rather than open a few stores from coast-to-coast, they decided to go whole hog into Canada. And now, because the leadership and the board is so full of themselves, everybody suffers. People who I know lost their jobs yesterday. And nearly 18,000 Target Canada store employees are out of work. Target Corp now has hundreds of thousands of unhappy customers, and can never be trusted again in any new sort of business venture.

Dear Anonymous67356...hope you as a board member are logged in today. Cause your company is shit. Everyone who works there hates it. I bet if I walked into Target HG today, and offered any worker, ANY WORKER, the same salary and benefits, they would walk out the door. No Notice. Target is shit.
Good discusion. All competitors have poor shopping experience too. We can and should do better. We should pay store folks better, cannot continue to do this minimum wage stuff, we are better than that and it is bad for business too. I am the original poster...Data breach, layoffs in 2012, layoffs in 2013, Canada closure, layoffs in 2014 and 2015. These events directly effect 250,000 people. More than 1 million unhappy customers if you count all the branches of these poor decisions, layoffs, tech problems.
Not original poster but i would say everyone who got their credit card stolen or let go. That number is 100k plus. Then when you layer in the poor user experience i could see hundreds of thousands.
