Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

I’ve figured 3-5 years is max one should stay with WF

More than enough to fatten up the resume. Anything beyond comes with diminishing returns. The time before your skills and experience become a burden has been progressively shorter. There’s always cheaper and more convenient replacement. You can be the employee of the century, and it will make no difference when the time comes to cut you. Don’t invest yourself in this job, keep the distance and don’t be bothered with office politics or mgmt, collect the paycheck, and be on the lookout for something better.

This should be the rule for anyone that wants to grow their career, knowledge, network and increasing your salary by switching companies. You stay expect the same low increases but the upside you don’t have to go out and market yourself. Expect the company to do your career management. Good luck in the future with that at WF. Your job will go to India

Use that 3-5 years to help the union grow and get established.
