Not just a prediction. It's a certainty.

Of course Trump being President is good economically for this sector of the economy. If you want proof, look how the markets have responded the past 2 weeks to banks.

Specifically, with WF, it's really good news. Any administration that wants to gut oversight, regulations and red tape will be a boon to a company like WF that is bogged down by oversight, regulations, and government meddling. WF stands to benefit the most from his general approach and you can see that reflected specifically in the stock valuation relative to Citi and BofA (all have seen big gains but none as much as WF).

Sanders and Warren and AOC and their ilk will all be sidelined for at least 2 years. WF will get out from under the asset cap and look for them to aggressively expand using up the cash they have been hoarding (it's been parked since they can't use it to grow). They better do it fast as I doubt Trump will hold the House and Senate in 2026. Then all bets are off.

People see food prices, and grunt, last 4 years baaa baaa baad. How about giving a thought to why it's bad? Fixing the previous administrators mess ups, and Trump's private meeting with Putin. I'm guessing Trump will give Ukraine to Putin. That's all we need, Russia to get larger... smh

Yes, trump's election is definitely good for giant corporations. So many bootlickers in the comments ready to get on their knees for Charlie or trump.

The FRB imposed the cap, not the president.

Question: if Trump was going to do that, then why didn't he lift the asset caps last time he was in office?

He won't lift it

He should split it up and then lift the cap.

Prediction: offshoring of jobs will speed up exponentially. Trump is in there to make money for himself and the billionaires who funded his campaign.
He does not care about average people, and now he doesn’t have to think about reelection. Nobody is coming to save your job. Wave goodbye.

Hint: when Elon was talking about short-term economic pain, he wasn’t talking about himself.
