I'm guessing there won't be much of Ames left in the next few months especially if global sourcing, sales, and marketing have filled out wpm's.

Chevron acquired REG specifically for the Geismar plant, it’s the first renewable diesel plant in the US and one of the largest. Chevron is starting a major expansion and improvement project of Geismar and couple that with the 100 million bond fun issued by La, CREG Geismar isn’t going anywhere. Now, what’s interesting, Chevron is ramping up major hydrogen projects in California, if that takes off it’ll be interesting to see how hydrogen and renewable will compete with one another as they service the same space, diesel trucking. Geismar and hydrogen are both money pits, it’s expensive to source renewable for diesel and everyone knows the challenges and cost with hydrogen. So, if I was Mike Wirth, I just spent billions for Geismar, which is a loss leader, then I’d plan to close a lot of the low performing REG plants, and even though they just built a new Ames building, I’d torpedo that and move select employees to Houston and close that office, or just keep a skeleton office/crew in Ames. If they did that to San Ramon they can do it to Ames. Anyway, I’m not Mike, I have no clue what’s going on in his head but I’d hedge my bets for the worse for Ames folks.

Seems unlikely and illogical. They haven't even cut ribbon on ATC.
