I & A job family call

Well looks like they officially announced layoffs per EB’s sneaky verbiage in the video. And so it begins……

Do yall think that maybe DP has embarrassing photos of PL in HR? Is that why PL is able to hammer down on other people for not coming into the office, but it is ok for DP to enjoy his retirement home about 2-3 years early while getting paid full salary and CIP?

Agreed that AG is awful, if there’s such thing as karma she’ll get the axe in these upcoming reorganization.

The DP arrangement is a slap in the face and more proof that if AG likes you that’s all that matters but if she doesn’t know you or you disagree with her you’re put on a list and she’ll keep you down any chance she gets. She’s smart but turned into a ladder climbing empire builder instead of a good leader.

Oh gimme a f-ing break.
DP IS in upper management. The guy should have retired 2+ years ago, living large in Pennsylvania, while everybody else is getting FIRED for not abiding by the hybrid work policy. Talk about double standard if anything, good guy or not, this is WRONG.

To work 2+ years completely remote and creating additional chapter manager jobs to do HIS job. And then getting severance this time around? That is the perfect hook up from AG and BB, who are his long time friends. I’m surprised there hasn’t been any hotline calls, and that PL from HR the hatchet man hasn’t been all over this.

I wish Damian P and Shawn F were in upper management, they are solid, good people. I heard from the rumor mill that Damian is retiring, if that’s true that really su-ks.

It is not beginning. If you have joined any of the function calls, you will know it has been in motion for some time now. 2025 is just the year where people start losing their jobs as a result.

i think less than 10% will move. sure, some will say it’s better than not having a job, but i truly can’t see many committing to uprooting their lives for a company in such a sharp decline.

What percentage of SR that is offered a role in Houston do you think would take the offer and make the move?

My guess is less <50% and upper leadership knows that and they will simply "offer" a role to avoid paying severance.

Am I off here? Do you think they would intentionally do that? Any chance of an EOI or severance? I know many people on this forum are sour but my personal experience working with people here is they are generally well-intended which gives me some hope there could be some sort of severance or EOI announced next year which is the right thing to do.

2 things here:

  1. Is it possible this is just directly related to ENGINE alone and doesn't signify additional layoffs throughout the rest of the company?
  1. WHY do we have so many individual posts about this? Can't we just continue contribute to the older posts regarding this instead of having the same 7 people state same 7 opinions over and over again?

Funny that not even the IT Chapter Heads know nothing about LC, his plans, or the much of anything.

Good to see DP can still live in Philadelphia and not be held to the same standard as the rest of us.
