Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

I'm exhausted of the two weeks Russian roulette game.

Being in a non hub location, it su-ks to live my life 2 weeks at the time and seeing all the people around me laid off.
If you feel the same, you're not alone 😮‍💨

Shartz wants to reduce WF to less than 100k US based employees, so yeah it could be any of us at anytime in 2025-2026.

It’s a terrible way to live. No security. No real ability to plan ahead because you don’t know what will happen. Constant anxiety and the health issues that arise from that.
And of course the constant pressure to perform at top capacity no matter what.
Layoffs happen everywhere, but they are not held over your head for years everywhere. WF will su-k your soul. It’s just a job. Find another one.

That's the whole reason they do it OP. If they can get even a handful of people in your building or your team to quit 'voluntarily', then it's worth it to them to torture everyone. "Mission accomplished" in their eyes.

Don't let them win. Prepare for your next role, but in the meantime, severance or death.

“Indian Pachisi” maybe.

I think "Indian Roulette" is more appropriate.

OP--you need to stop worrying about what you can't control!!!
When it's your turn--it's just as simple as that!
