Has anyone been tracking this? How does the stock price typically react once layoffs are announced? Is there a pattern and if there is do you have details... the common sense is that the stock value/price will go up if a cut is announced as the market expects that there will be more cash left for the company but i do not know if the market is considering that there will be lesss productivity becase of loss of experience and knowledge etc.

Is it possible to see/ track if WF already spent allocated 1B for layoffs?
YES!
I did a little dance today when I saw the market close up for me, but the 72.47 climb was incredible!
Heh, I can afford top shelf scotch now!
Cheers!
Announced? When have layoffs been announced? We’ve been in a continuous layoff state for the last three years and the stock price has remained stagnant.
up almost $9 as of the time of this writing. Guess the market likes the election results. and also, layoffs are already built into the stock price especially when we report $1b earmarked towards these efforts.
Nobody cares about the reported layoffs on a day to day basis as far as the stock is concerned when it's just a trickle of layoffs.
Initial announcement is where it's at.
