I am software engineer in east coast area. Should I worry layoff? Is it core hub?

No one is safe, not even in a hub/core location.
Based on your text I would guess you do not have a grasp on the English language and are likely Indian or Chinese. Either of those nationalities are safe. The alphabet weirdos are safe too
If your job can be replicated in India you are not safe. No matter how good you are. Soon you will be evaluated by your manager. He/She is being forced to give a certain number of people an "inconsistently meets" grade. Your manager's job is also in jeopardy. If he doesn't play this evil game their job will also be offshored. It is amazing what kind of jibberish they will write you up on. Projects you aren't involved in and didn't know anything about. The manager will push all the blame on you.
You are not safe anywhere.
The Jersey hub location is Metro Park.
If it's not India, it goes.
Sharf loves frogs in boiling water, I am in a core location nothing can happen to me! He has been very clear anyone goes.
Core/non-core doesn't really matter. Anyone can be laid off. And Wells Fargo is making sure they get everybody.
