Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Going Forward

Wells Fargo is a different company today than when I arrived. During my tenure, we have driven
a tremendous amount of change and progress and established a much stronger risk management
and operational foundation. We have changed our leadership, changed our operating practices,
and simplified our business. We have continued to build our risk and control infrastructure,
continued to execute against our regulatory objectives and facilitated cultural change throughout
our organization.

Some employees have been informed that their workplaces will be closing. We strongly encourage those impacted to take proactive steps toward new opportunities outside of Wells Fargo, as we believe their future success lies beyond our organization. Each day spent delaying this transition is a day that could be used to build a promising career elsewhere. While we understand that change can be challenging, we urge those affected to consider the broader impact on the company and their communities and take the necessary steps toward a fresh start.

In conclusion, I want to express my sincere gratitude to everyone at Wells Fargo who has
continued to serve our customers, each other, and our communities through these challenging
times. I appreciate their dedication and resiliency as we have worked to make Wells Fargo better.
While we still have much more to do, our foundation is stronger, our business is more focused,
we are driving cultural change, and the talent and management process changes we have made
are making a positive impact. I remain incredibly optimistic about our future.

I was one of the first to willingly walk away and left a 6 figure severance on the table after they took my bonus for the year I worked 70 hr weeks and lead two major technology conversions effecting the entire bank. I worked for them 23 yrs and they overload good workers while others sleep under their desks to this day. I've seen it. Good riddance as I was ashamed to tell people who I worked for while CS reaps all the benefits of the livelihoods he destroys. I hope he sleeps well I sure do lol

I guarantee you that he wants employees to quit. His whole goal is to cut costs and paying out severance is going to cost.

He's likely yelling at upper management for lower than desired turnover.

I could see CS actually saying this. To translate: Please quit so we don't have to pay you severance.

So glad that it's been a few hours since I last ate, as this would have immediately made me projectile vomit.
