Location Strategy 2025

Anyone have ANY legit info about location strategy for 2025 (other than it will occur)?

Not official but my sources (non technology) say most wfh will be gone by mid year and most core moves by end of year. Surprisingly, East Iowa might be 2026.

I have some information regarding this.

Site closures will be push to the end of year to encourage voluntary resignations. No exact information will be given, just vague information and wide timeframes. All procedural changes will make your job more stressful. Management will get trimmed first, leaving bankers with few to go to with many issues that will arise.

Oh wait, this was information for 2024. 2025 will be this again.

I’ve posted something similar to this before and let me tell you point blank. Before I put in my notice I was offered more money and a promotion to stay. However, my job could not be guaranteed. Yes, I had a critical skills exception, not in hub location, not in speciality market and fully remote.

The writing is on the wall ladies and gentleman.

location strategy is up to each lob with each having their own timelines. some have moved faster than others while others slower but know that everyone is moving.

Prepare to get laid off regardless of location. I found this out the hard way. Location is just another excuse when they dont have one

If you aren't in I&P, you go. Just a matter of when.
