It’s illegal for you to be hourly and working hours off the clock. So keep notes of each day and how many hours you work off the the clock including which hours they were. Very exact and specific records. Every insurance company I know of who did this, after the employee got laid off or left went to an attorney and the labor department and got paid. If you want to do that now you can too. But everyone knows they’ll fire you after that. So keep your records and get them later. They know it’s illegal but they pretend they don’t know that management and HR are breaking the law.

No pay cut. I'm in Texas and and we are already underpaid compared to the competition. In my position,
we are almost all also are working 55-60 hrs weeks as non- exempt but unable to clock overtime, so only being paid for 40. UI is better than a pay cut given that.
And they wonder why people keep quitting.

I love how HR is anonymously taking polls this website. How about you realize the VP’s that were hired to replace all the fired VPs don’t know what they’re doing and are all hiring their friends to do the actual work and cover their ignorance and as--s? The company would save a ton of money if they stopped paying for new leader staff that are their friends. It’s time everyone realized that they are using AI to replace all front line staff and soon the CRC’s. They are just letting everyone keep the work going until AI can do it all.
