For laid off people or coworkers of people laid off, are you/they coming back to WF? I personally know of only 1 person that came back and that was to maintain PTO and benefits.

I know of several that went back, including me back when I got whacked the first time in 2001.
I came back and was able to be whacked again in 2022!
Good times!
Cheers!
I've seen quite a few zz names reappear a few months later. That was early on in chainsaws reign of error.
I got laid off and went back. I'd say 80% of the people I know that got cut did.
I know of 1. It happens, but the vast majority never return.
Wells treated our team awful before layoff. Management was awful and there is a lot of corruption. However, in this market most jobs are paying less than wells with less benefits so sadly it is tempting to come back until the job market bounces back. I understand why one wouldn’t want to come back though.

After over 30 years, I’m not going back!
I came back. I have five more years of work and didn’t want a 20% pay cut or to start over with two weeks of vacation. Self-preservation pure and simple. It’s a paycheck.
It’s a harsh realization that you worked so hard to earn all the PTO you have, to lose your job and if/when you find another, you’ll get a max of 10 days. We need to be a bit more like other countries, with respect to PTO.
He-l to tha naw....to the naw naw NAWW! 😂
NO!
I too know of 1. But then I wouldn’t say I know a lot of people at Wells. Out of the probably 30-40 I know of who left/displaced, only one came back and another one WANTED to come back but no team wanted him.
