No updates to Oregon WARN listing so far today.
Everyone on this board just wants obscure, far-flung "barn" to shut down so we can stop seeing posts about it.

It’s department specific here and seems to be based on if the entire department is going away vs just a reduction in headcount. Some are being notified several months (6+) in advance that their departments are being eliminated.
The barn can't possibly see downsizing in November. People here assure us that Hudson Yards doesn't lay people off during the last couple months of the year because they are stunned into inaction by the timing of the 401k match. Nothing to worry about!
" I found this as strange" pre-notice goes out sometimes. I saw it in commercial bank operations.
I work at Barnhart. On my way into the office the other day I ran into a fellow team member I hadn't seen in years. She said they had just been told they would be gone by November. I found this as strange because I thought that info always came down Tuesday after paydays. I'm not sure if she meant she had already gotten the 60-day notice, or that she would get her 60-day starting in November.
I forget which line of business she moved to, maybe credit card fraud, or non-fraud claims. I don't know if it applies to all groups in the building, but I've heard chatter about November before, so I guess we will find out tomorrow
