I'm just wondering, is it common practice that after you have an accident in the club and report it that you get a coaching for not following safety procedures. Wouldn't that practice just make you think twice about reporting it if you're going to get in trouble for getting hurt?

I mean, if you get hurt for doing something wrong or something you're not supposed to do then yes you get coached. Not sure why this isn't common sense.
Very common because 9 times out of 10 the accident hairnet because you wasn't paying attention. That's why they have all those pick up trash etc safety cbls so your basically signing your own coaching on any slip fall etc.
It happened in our store our receiving girl slipped and feel on a piece of paper in receiving hurt herself and the manager reviewed cameras and said if she would have picked the paper up she wouldn’t have fell and she got a coaching for failing to pick the paper up
It is common practice. Along with workers comp insisting you have to work went you obviously can't. Common practice. You will always be at fault, and be the sh---y guy, and will be chased out the building.
I agree. And yes id--t managers will punish you for doing the right thing.
