The union has moved past the point of no return on this contract. T has all the leverage and union leaders will end up groveling in negotiations and struggle to package the concessions they’ve given back to their constituents….in the end it will end poorly for members and will set a precedent for all future negotiations.

“Having Bojangles biscuits for breakfast, raining and windy most of the day so probably door dash some food in for picketers.”

Gee, seems to contradict the post soliciting donations for struggling D3 strikers. Maybe they'd like some money instead of some soggy biscuits and overpriced Door Dash. (Pssst, it's a whole lot cheaper to have one of your fat as--s go pick up the food.)

Who’s paying for that? If T finds a work around for this storm, you’re done. Nobody really knows or cares about the strike. It was such a d-mb idea that has impacted so many people. Glad they stopped the town halls. They were useless.

Stankey shall render the union and the dwindling retail customer base powerless!!!!
Only then will the wayward see the Stankey vision, the mobile messiah, the wit and way of the illustrious and fragrant Stank.

Dang, the company must have the Union by the short hairs, just like they did last time and the time before that and THE other time they did. Almost forget about the other time prior.
You folks consider yourself clever and more educated than the "Union Slugs" but are you able to discern a pattern here?
We are not taking from you, we are trying to keep what we have fought for. Stankey is taking from you, not the Union.”

Other than raises & bringing BSW in house, we’re hitting on about 25-30 years of mostly give backs & concessions.

And that needs to stop. Right now with this contract.

Stankey is all the compensation you need. Stankey is the way, the truth, the inertia, the path to profitability and respectability.

Every day this continues, T gains more leverage. It was a very bad play for the union.

No worries because every union update tells me "We're making history!" "people will remember this bargaining team" "historical strike" and little else so all must be good!!
I'm afraid they have backed themselves into a corner and don't know how to extract themselves all for some ego showdown, at least in my perspective.
If they have to keep us out another 30 days to try to look impressive, I think they will with little to no regard for the rest of us

“ Desperate times!”

What’s desperate is seeing union goofs on this site spouting how powerful their union is but at the same time sheepishly asking when they’ll be back to work and reveling in their daily 4500 calorie picket line buffet, it’s laughably pathetic. You’ll be back when T says you’ll be back, not a second sooner slugs.

I’ve worked in Mobility my entire career. I don’t know what’s going on in wireline but I guarantee there are outages a plenty in the Mobility network.

I personally know a couple of CP assigned managers who were sent to Louisiana for storm damage. They don’t have a clue how to do the work and only have had their 40 hrs of CP training. They are office workers that have been assigned to work on the outside plant. Desperate times!

Subject: AT&T Louisiana Storm Work: Seeking Crews for Pre-Storm List
I'm excited to announce that Gojet Communications LLC and Gojet Recruiting Services LLC have secured an opportunity to provide storm recovery services for AT&T in Louisiana. As of yesterday, AT&T has reached out, and all contracts have been drawn up and signed.
We are currently finalizing pricing, but we are actively assembling a pre-storm list of companies to fill the required positions.
We are seeking the following:
200-300 aerial crews
30 fiber splicers
30 copper splicers
The initial rate we have received is for a 2-man aerial crew at $210 per hour. More pricing details will follow soon.
If you are interested in being on the pre-storm list, please message me directly on Facebook Messenger for phone numbers and additional contact information.
Thank you for your time, and we look forward to collaborating.
Best regards,

You need personnel working in the NRC doing alarm surveillance to tell you there are outages. The few CP managers there don't know how to do the job.

I guarantee there'll be questions from government agencies inquiring about outages not reported to the FCC during the strike in a few months.

Fake news. 911 was down for a while in a few areas but now is supposedly back online. Power outages/damages and flooding has impacted hundreds of thousands. No way to tell how many troubles and damages have occurred until the storm passes and an assessment happens.

Be safe out there! A lot of the power lines down.
