Thread regarding Chevron Corp. layoffs

Responsible Shareholding

Maybe it's time shareholders hold management accountable for making money the right way. Laying off and outsourcing is not the ethical way to make money and shareholders if they want a decent country should stop that garbage. People like MW are out of control while raking in the money. Chevron is making plenty of money but it's not enough for him. This goes for all companies. Shareholders should make plenty of money but let's not destroy our country and it's people along the way.

Boeing is a good example where we need responsible shareholding as well. They cut corners and hosed over the employees and now they are striking. If shareholders don't wake up and demand to make money the right way there will be way more of these going on and demands for more change.

@jic+1utDeN3O If you want to save Capitalism we need change now. People are tired of the outsourcing and being s crewed over by corporations. You hear it all the time in speeches. No company cares about thier customers, country or employees anymore. If capitalism isn't working for the majority people are going to look elsewhere for a new system. I am for capitalism but it's broken now. Just have to look at people like MW to see we have got to change something.

The people at the top are the majority shareholders. The only way the lose their job is from a vote which they never lose. Every once in a while someone gains enough shares to make them concerned but they know who they are and typically stop them before acting. Years ago it was T. Boone Pickens doing this. They paid him off to go away.

@jic+1utDeN3O - when does your job get outsourced? because if it can, it will, and it's only a matter of time.
