Yes, I get about 8h/night at home and can usually grab another 3-4 during the day. I keep a yoga mat in my office…😉👍
Yep, management problem that never ends one leaves and another takes their place.
Rotating door giving the same result.
@drb+1urlgwrT It seems that management likes to get themselves in to various crises so they can be the big hero getting themselves out of it. It seems to be the history of the American car companies. Now GM is doubling down on EVs. Looks like the blue oval will win the next round w/ them at least. Let's see, people ain't buying enough of the current ones... let's make more.
Says the guy who is spending his day on a layoff site. Get to work yourself.
@jhk+1urlgwrT: How's that 'new talent' working out for you?
Too many engineers? Look at the bloat at the executive and management levels.
Too many engineers? Spoken like a true marketer.

Regarding talent pushed out by previous leadership, I would argue that you look at the top tech talent BF, JF and and Doug Field have brought to the company to deliver the company transformation plan, Ford+.
That what happens when you have complex systems and no planning.
We had a chance to simplify our products for 30 years but there was always someone on the sidelines who seemed to have some clout who would drive complexity.
It takes several product cycles and great engineering discipline to do what Toyota and Honda have always done.
Management needs to stop chasing the golden goose and betting on a hail mary pass to save everything. Just think of the talent that Hackett and Farley pushed out. I don't think Ford has the management talent to lead the few experienced engineers still here.
Sounds like a management problem.
