To ruin a good company? In that case Stankey was a great choice and will lead until there is nothing left to lead.

Go Stankey!
Makes you wonder. Feels like several failed experiments that other decent businesses can learn from.
“John's intent is saving T, not making friends.”
John’s intent is enriching himself, the BOD, and a select number of shareholders then leaving you holding the bag.
They don’t care about the long-term prospects of the company.
“ If they would only let the competent employees take the helm!”
None left. Craft or leadership.
Can’t stand the C suite, but they are on the 4th floor
No doubt is 100% intentional.
Employees are a companies biggest expense. Corporate America’s goal is to eliminate as many FTE’s as possible and only have contract workers. It’s a great future for our children right?
AS I sit in my very, did I say very very plush office on the TOP, did I say TIPPY TOP of a 37 story office building that I call "My stairway to heaven" I just want to remind the minions that your words can't reach me but mine reach you. Now git yo azzez back to work unless you have a blueprint to add on to this building. BOFA has a 72 story and I want at least a 73 story building. No damn banker is going to look down on me.
100% by design.
This should be become a classic case in how not to run a company in the business schools across the US.
If they would only let the competent employees take the helm!
The competent employees left many moons ago.
Some buffoon said: "John's intent is saving T, not making friends. "
Turns out he really su-ks at both of those.
John's intent is saving T, not making friends.
Some poor sap will get stuck with a failing company, underpaid under skilled staff, and a giant mess to clean up once Stankey leaves and cashes out his options, etc.
whoever is left holding T junk stock and left at the company will be left holding the bag.
Seen it multiple times before with failing legacy corps. It becomes all about survival and the execs eat the company trying to extract as much wealth as they can before it all comes crumbling down.
Cut everything fire everyone make balance sheet look good, stock go up, executives sell get golden parachutes, BOD cashes out, etc etc
And by the time the clueless boomers holding T that think it’s a good investment get wind of what’s going on, the stock is crashing, customers are pi---d, government is performing investigations.
It’s what Boeing did, look at them.
T is pulling the same strategy.
They just need to inflate the share price for a little while for everyone to sell and get out.
It wasn’t his intention. Intentions, good or bad, require forethought.
He is a wanna be bully who believes his own hype.
He needs to retire from
