CNBC posted an article a few months ago called "How Walmart, Delta, Chevron and Starbucks are using AI to monitor employee messages". I'm curious if this will be used for sentiment analysis, using metrics to make determinations for stuff like ENGINE layoffs.
Has anyone seen the results of this product out in the wild?

If you are ever under an investigation they will have everything you've ever typed in a work computer at their fingertips. Don't be paranoid, the company knows you have personal conversations with co-workers and occasionally visit non work sites - they are not looking for that - otherwise TONS of people would have been let go already
Nothing new here - this technology has been around for at least 20 years, there's nothing "AI" about it. It all depends on what "keywords" they're looking for.
They are using it now for any insider threats, threats against people or sharing of confidential information to those that are not approved. They are not keeping history long term, but mainly pulling in messages by keywords and is analyzed. So don't type things like bo-b, or k*ll and have someone's name in the same sentence, especially a leader..
As the algorithm matures they will eventually be expanding it's basic use and intended purpose of gauging employees morale, team function and collaboration.
Don't type anything in teams you wouldn't tell someone in an email or recorded call. It's all monitored.
I don’t know how this is being used in the wilds,, but I can’t imagine this being used for ENGINE, more so this AI would probably be used for key word / phrase searches for anything controversial.
Just be smart and just use any company tools for company stuff, e.g. I never use company laptop to go to any non work related site, not even Google review for lunch places or latest sports scores and such.
