I am passionate about my work, I like to take pride in it. My performance, reputation and history has been great. But I believe things can happen to anybody any time without any sensible reason, at least the way things are looking these days. This is just the reality now. Job security my foot!
Frankly speaking, if I knew the engineering career will turn out like this, I would have gone through the excruciating sufferings to become health professional.
My family has several doctors and nurses, and they work like dogs for sure, but they don't have to worry about loosing work. Much better mental health.
Anyway, enough with silly rants.
Just so that it doesn't feel like the sky fell on me suddenly, I want to know what happens when the ax comes for you e.g. your insurance policy, company contributions to your retirement account.
Does the health insurance gets cancelled right away?
