Starting to see non-Honeywell posts specifically making fun of Honeywell products for using obsolete tech. Never seen this before. One post shows the Honeywell 757 and talks about what a PITA it is using MSDOS tools to service a Honeywell APU controller. These are from fairly prominent people with lots of followers. Comments included cyber professions openly mocking Honeywell for antique infrastructure and no budget to upgrade. I wonder how long until Honeywell attacks those posts for photo rights or other just to shut them up

The effects of conglomeration can't be ignored. Most of Fortune 500 figured out that conglomeration was poor business strategy in the 90's and 00's; however, Honeywell and a few others have hung on to this 1960's business model for indiscernible reasons.
The consequences are becoming increasingly apparent: bureaucratic bloat and do-nothing positions; antiquated infrastructure and processes; managerial incompetence...
Honeywell is a bubble festering like a pustule just waiting to pop. And the moment Honeywell runs out of acquisitions to short and plunder, it will most certainly pop.
Not only Honeywell uses old tech for current launches. Several other big name companies such as GE, RR, Pratt does the same. Its just a matter of ROI
I cannot find the posts anymore. Honeywell cease and desist team in action
