I wouldn’t mind being laid off if a decent severance package is on the table. I’m fed up with Honeywell. I started thinking about going elsewhere a while back. If the Boeing strike spills over and triggers a round of layoffs here, I’m all for it. I just hope whoever still needs a job here gets to keep it.

What does the latest Boeing settlement mean for Honeywell employees?
They are walking people out left and right. Horrible work environment!!!
@8lkq+1uGCVAbn No, workers at Boeing have been on strike also. They are looking to get a 30% pay increase.
boeing strike? u mean port strike
You’re my favorite poster. I’m hoping I’m ahead of you when it comes to being laid off.
It appears Boeing told my site to stop shipping because there's a lot piled up that didn't ship today...the last day of the quarter. My guess is the ALT was hoping this would be resolved by today and it'd be business as usual heading into Q4 but it's not looking that way. The last time this happened in 2008 we were all on furlough 1 week per month through the end of the year.
Anyone have any info on what Boeing is telling suppliers, especially those behind on schedule?
Unless there is global cataclysm it is practically impossible for Blackrock/Van guard to go bankrupt.
@dpr
I don't see any evidence of this. Maybe you are dreaming?
Did anyone at Hon tell you that one of their big shareholders "BLACKROCK" filed for bankruptcy?
December 15. Payout my 401K or lay me off. Either way, I'm gone soon.
Definitely before Dec 15. Maybe tomorrow if they want a stock price bump before the end of the Qtr.
