Are we losing our healthcare benefits and other benefits on August 30th? No one is communicating with us in our area. It would be wonderful if someone who really knows what is going on could provide answers so we could start working on what our next steps are.

Continuing...yes, there is a COBRA provision, but that cr-p takes time, and likely wouldn't be all set up and ready to go when they do the pre-certs for the procedure.

Yawn! One would expect company managers that keep posting on here would be concerned with the company negotiators and their bad faith bargaining. Easy to talk sm--k from an office with A/C while, your peers are sweating their azz off and putting their lives in danger by doing tasks they aren’t really qualified to do. We are ready to go back as soon as good faith bargaining breaks out.
I know the managers dispatching at our site are pi---d, they said it was ok to get out of the office for a day or two but now they are hating it. Said, they aren’t getting injured and plenty of work upon are return. They are either doing the bare minimum or nothing at all.

Assume you are and move on. Learn a real trade and find employment in a successful enterprise.
The strikers are offered good opportunity for employment with a great company. Yet they choose to go on strike, not because they are not getting paid, but because they are not getting their way. I got news for you, AT&T has enough managers across the country not just southeast to keep you on those picket lines for as long as you want.
Don't push your luck. Take company offer or soon you may find permanent unemployment.
