Sorry if someone answered this question before, but what does FOW status mean in webphone? In contrast to FTO “Full time office” thank you.

FOW employees are employees that are typically not in a hub location and will be asked to move to a hub or will be given a true office location in the near future. When I received my FTW letter my designation was changed to FTO. The interesting thing about FOW employee status is that the supervisor can dictate how often the employee must show up in the office.

Flex Office Worker. It was the 1-2 days per week in-office designation prior to the current RTO gulag system. No idea what it means today other than some groups just have not had their designations updated to FTO.

It’s changed since then. Future office worker. It’s not hard to find. Search it on the company intranet. Though rumor I hear is that it’s going back to that 2019 definition.

The AT&T location associated with the employee’s position, i.e. generally, it is where they most frequently work or meet with their supervisor/peers to collaborate. This AT&T work location will drive real estate affiliate billing, payroll tax, and compensation for the employee. FOW’s work in shared space and should note “shared” in the workspace field of eLink.

Future Office Worker (FOW) used to indicate a worker that is designated to return to the office once they renovate and make more room for them. People soon find out that they aren’t expanding office space and that those tagged as FOW future surplus targets.
FOW also allows them to run RTO compliance reports and filter out the noise of FOWs since they don’t matter.
Also be aware of the random addition to sharepoints and other forums. This is just another grouping mechanism they use.
