Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

To Jeremy Legg

Started the day with this tu-d in the mailbox:

"How we're performing against success bonus measure."
Simply put - it's hard to build durable relationships with customers when we have outages and data incidents. We must do better.

Fu-k you, you gaslighting piece of sh-t. You and your waves are the cause of this and you know it. Instead of blaming others, why don't you be a leader and accept responsibility for once?

It's really sad this company is represented by this loser.

It depends on the state but if it’s in an offer letter you may have grounds to sue.
They can’t change it for the current year but they may be able to change it going forward, it really depends.
You’d have to get an employment lawyer but it isn’t as cut and dry either way as some people make it out to be in here.

Either way, you should quit if they cut bonuses.

If they want to take away bonuses then I want to renegotiate my salary.

managers aren't hired with a contract and bonuses are not part of salary or any guaranteed wage. If it was, it would be part of your severance calculation, which it isn't. the viewpoint of the bonus being part of your salary, is definitely an old school point of view, kind of dating yourself there

“Funny, I heard that bonuses were going away in 2025, I just didn’t realize it was going to be Legg ruining it for everyone’s performance. Shame we can’t yank him off the c suite stage with a giant hook. What a weird model. Some or no bonus means better cash flow which is better for stock, which means there’s an incentive for Legg and crew to eff this up again. What the h3ll is wrong with ATS? What a circus”

If bonuses are going away in 2025, then what’s the point of going into the office at all?
Are they going to raise base salaries to meet the bonus deficit?

Bonus is part of your agreed upon contract when hired, that you have x% as bonus, how wouldn’t that be considered a paycut?

Same from Pascal. Why don’t they just send one from Stankey instead of pretending the SVPs have unique things to say.

Same cr-p from Mcelfresh and soon will hear the same from Arnoldi on her upcoming townhall for Enterprise Business.

They can phukk about all they want, this “kick us in the teeth” with RTO and hub relocation mess is the real problem.

I find it interesting that our executive leaders under Stankey are all about us (us = stoopid managers) carrying the burden and fault of these recent failures like they don’t know what the root cause is

Would Bonnie go with Legg when he eventually quits or is fired for ineptitude that cost millions of dollars in lost revenue due to data breaches, outages, etc.? The swamp has to be cleaned up.
