Well said to the last person who commented. We can still use Employee assistance services while employed. They offer free counseling if anyone gets to that point. Hopefully if anyone needs it, we can still keep that benefit during severance. Yes, please everyone take care of yourselves.
Very sad indeed. It says he was in Internal Controls. Perhaps he saw the writing on the wall? Recently, someone here posted about the increase in error rates in their dept since offshoring began. I'm sure those kinds of things aren't helping IC or Risk & Control TMs.

You're correct. There were things not being communicated to us by our managers about the direction of the company for a couple of years. 2023 would have fallen in that range.

I wondered the same thing. I wonder did they let him go in the late night meeting since no senior executives attended the funeral..
But Greg's brother, Dave Beckett, expressed surprise that no senior executives from Wells Fargo attended his memorial service, although some of his colleagues did. The bank sent flowers as a gesture of sympathy.
Still wonder what exactly he saw or found out that would cause this…what did he know?
