I am retired but still have work friends still working at T. They say they have nothing to do and take every Monday and Friday off. If I knew I could have done this I would have stayed.

What’s wrong with drinking in the summer heat? We are required to carry 2 gallons of water with us and drink regularly. The better question is, who appointed and approved you to surveil other employees, both management, labor and post your opinions? If you have a grievance then contact HR, asset protection or the union local. If what you are alleging is true then, it will be found out and addressed in time. I know of a manager and a technician who were just fired for falsifying time reports, eventually all get caught, just like the coffee badge swipers will.

your friends still working at T lied to you, the workload has increased, smaller teams and to top it off they added the office
Yes they found out we work better and harder when we are in the office. Because of this information we only stay home 2 days a week. They thought about getting the full benefit of being in the office all the time but that would affect upper management so we’re going with the partial improvements in productivity and collaboration. Also about half the workforce doesn’t do this anyway.
