People leaving for other companies, slow months, high pressure, performance plans, angry landline customers, no expansion of fiber, low morale, increased quotas, leadership that has no clue how hard the role is… will things get better?

It’s going down because the POTS is drying up. When the copper customers get moved to Alliance or RDS is pulled away entirely it will be a blood bath and I look forward to it. Learn how to actually sell things to new customers or find something else. Being paid to bring in no new revenue should have never happened let alone for decades. Shame on leadership for still acknowledging those that bring in nothing but make 10k in commission for shifting money from one pocket to the other.

No ones making a hundred calls a day. It's simply not possible. I am a mid market rep top 3 on my team. It's simply not possible when you have to be project manager, order support, customer support etc. Outside of that you're running discovery calls. At best I can do 40 a day.

The people who are hitting quota are largely being fed deals by techs/engineers with relationships they've monopolized.

It was me BTW. Really with the name huh. You name another company where you can be a sales rep and reduce customers existing spend, lose the company money and still get paid out. Bro you have it too easy here. You must have been part of the original fiber sellers back in the 2015-2018 days where you could just go grab Global order numbers and SIP them. Now that the cheating is dwindling down you're sitting there weeping. If only these new standards would have been put in place years ago the quotas would never be this high. Cut the POTS BS out, Sell White space and move along. You weeping the company is not expanding fiber and they are. Do you know how many IFP builds go up each month? If you can't hit your broadband number than you aint working. Log your SF calls and door knocks and do your job or just move along.

There is a solution to these .... Angry Landline customers- Sell into white space and make the company real money......no expansion of fiber- Sell On Net or an IFP overbuild PON customer.......leadership knows how hard the role is- they want you to make 100 cold calls a day to get to your number that is what 90% of the people over 100% in ranker are doing. The days of networks and IT vendors is over. Half the leads you get now a days role to platinum or globals so what's the point if a tech sends you a lead, or IT vendor that roles to another group. Unless your cold calling 90% of the day you are not hitting your number anymore. Stop flipping POTS lines and go sell to white space.

16 years this is how it works. AT&T makes a bad decision. Front line pays. Pressure ramps up. People freak out. People live. People stress. A few survive. Division is reorged or eliminated. It’s the same pattern. You have to ask yourself, is this worth it for you? If you think so little of yourself you will freak
out and put yourself through he-l then stay. If not leave.

The people at 100% are not making cold calls at all . They’re committing fraud month to month or selling it to family and friends .

It’s all about cost reduction. Getting people off of the books is the goal. Plan them out, drive them crazy till they leave.

Fiber is not expanding. It’s a very slow process. In the time that fiber finishes on small buildout - spectrum does a whole zip code
