Thread regarding U.S. Bank layoffs

What’s the latest on layoffs?

And pls, guys, provide info if you can - dept, no. of people, etc. We all have just bits and pieces of information and not a general picture. Is it true that WFH people are affected disproportionately? I wish us all luck.

In a previous round of layoffs I was laid off as a grade 16 and received 12 weeks severance for <5 years service. A grade 17 friend received 24 weeks for about the same number of years. We did not work our notice periods.

The severance package info is available on the Total Rewards site. There is a minimum and maximum payout based on your grade.

Severance info is standard (unsure if exceptions are common), should still be available via HR site, and not what is stated in this thread.

Severance is pretty standard for grades 14-16. It's 2 weeks per full year of service. 17+ get even better packages if you get laid off you automatically get a year and can get another year if you don't find a comparable position after another year.

You just can’t give up too much info without outing yourself here that’s why we are vague. Also the severance agreement does not allow you to discuss it so there is that as well. It’s why people are not detailed.

Why are you here asserting someone to give up information that impacted their personal life? Your post is ridiculous. If someone post something, appreciate it - no one here to satisfy your appetite to hear about layoffs- be more considerate
