Thread regarding Cigna layoffs

I don’t think there will be layoffs in MA at all

I think some talent will resign and go elsewhere because they don’t want to move to HCSC and there will be some turnover related to the audit. I think we are already seeing some audit fall out. If there were to be layoffs they would be in Q3 or Q4 and will be dependent upon what HCSC wants.

These audit results aren’t in yet it’s possible HCSC could back out of renegotiate the deal if the audit wasn’t to standard.

Bumped from @cam+1sxzVWEg for being on point.

I don’t think there will be either, at least in Bands 1-3. Upper and middle management is more apt to be laid off and let go. We don’t need two medical directors when we move, for example. HCSC already has one.

I know JB is gone. I’m just using that title as an example.

At the end of the day. I think the Audit results might have some findings but no real major CAP. All things considered I agree, their might be some minor layoffs (by comparison to Cigna) after close of sale. I think HCSC is not perfect, but nowhere near has bad as how Cigna has become. If you happen to be sick and tired of this new Cigna, but happen to be part of the MA line of business going to HCSC, you should consider yourself lucky as at least you have a chance of a better work environment chance of staying remote. Unlike many of Cigna (non-MA) employees. It's not all green and perfect, but I rather be part of Cigna MA than Cigna Commercial or Express Scripts at this moment.
