Thread regarding Honeywell International Inc. layoffs

Does anyone know what purpose the meetings in Charlotte, May 13th - 15th, are?

Flying management and leadership to Charlotte, seemingly on short notice.

They have their marching orders. If your factory starts billing nonstop, parts, in my opinion. Expect a major relocation. If they are all of a sudden replacing all old equipment with new ones, get your suitcase ready.

Whatever they’re up to. Will take place within a year. By the way. If they all suddenly start hiring all these technicians and engineers for your site. Again. You can get your suitcase packed again.

Cheap labor here we come.

It does feel eerily quiet.

The businesses are in trouble with the auditors. Big time. Could be an ugly profit impact. The "smoke and mirrors" games finally met a no-nonsense audit partner.

Breakup of company coming. Just my prediction, I would also expect. Major shake up in organization. Replacing management and plant managers.

We probably ordered you guys to do something about it. Only thing I can think of is a major shake within the company.

@2dax+1svD8NV3 I noticed this, the paranoia in leadership right now is palpable.
I am surprised more people are not on here highlighting how the wheels are falling off in IA. So much has happened recently and I do wonder how this will unfold over the year.

I see my post was removed regarding who had left SPS senior management.

As a former B4 site leader, these meetings typically go like this: report out your ytd performance against aop. Explain how/what/why on not meeting plan. Usually the word softness is overly used. But Sales org doesn’t know how to sell, specifically value selling. So obvi not hitting top line, breakout whiteboard on path to MUST meet bottom line. Curb all costs. No travel, no pens, skip customer pm. Then final lever, furlough season to meet margin expectations. Reconnect in October for 2025 aop prep for another unreasonable goals.

If SV isn't wining and dining customers in Dubai then I would be worried.

The senior leadership's carbon footprint is correlated with our stock price.

I am not on Linkedin with anyone above me. Are these folks that have not been announced through company email? If so, just say yes. Thank you.

Leadership is meeting to get the half year bonus payouts. High fives. Claps on the back. Get their $$$$. New cars and stock options.

These are very serious matters. Now, slaves get back to work.

They probably have to reduce workforce. Probably RIFs, and to layoffs. This is just my guess.
