Thread regarding L3Harris Technologies layoffs

Has anyone gotten their severance pay yet?

I turned my papers in right away. When I asked about the severance pay I was told in an email that it would be paid after 60 days from the end of the rejection period. I pointed out that the paperwork says within 60 days not after 60 days but I was dealing with someone who is not a native English speaker so who knows?

Thank goodness we were all up to date on our DEI and Ethics training before we were let go.

They also cut off your FSA card and keep all funds you have contributed unless you Cobra the card and keep paying. It is legal but it is not right.

Got it on 26 April. Laid off on April 4th; signed and sent in all paper work (via e-mail) on the 8th. Got confirmation it was received. Was told direct deposit was no longer available for laid-off folks and that they would send me a check via mail. Called on the 26th and was total that they couldn't / wouldn't tell me anything and that they had 60 days. Checked my bank account an hour later and there it was. I guess their message is "don't bother us, you'll get it when you get it."

Nope, was told within 60 days, if that’s business days we won’t see it until July. I do not know how they expect people to survive, car payments won’t wait, mortgages won’t wait, unless you live with another person that can help you are not going to make it unless you get a job like the next day after layoff.

Cruel and unusual punishment for what? We did nothing wrong, we didn’t ask to be laid off.
