Thread regarding Xerox Corp. layoffs

Any word on number of layoffs?

I left a few years back, but still consider the people of Xerox family. Any word on how many people will be let go?

I haven't seen anything on whether manufacturing closure is included in the earlier announced 15% or if it's more now.

Don't be an ahole.

For someone with a tech power house failed career you have a lot of nerve to pontificate.

If you don't have transferable skills, that's all on you.

I constantly made an effort to keep my skills up-to-date, even if I didn't use them at my job at Xerox. Though most of the time I tried to learn a new skill that I could apply to my Xerox job to make us more efficient, cost less, or faster. Though that is easier to do in software, which is where I was.

"Resume? Too bad you have non-transferable skills so you could move on. Zero respect for any employees right now."

Don't be an ahole. Some very excellent people left here and not all have tiny jobs like yours was and are transferrable.

Teflon Dawn on her way up to Canada. They call her Mariano Rivera: the greatest closer of all time.

Listening to the Iron Dome speak yesterday was like listening to a Politician - blah blah blah, look at me speak words without forming a tangible sentence. Useless.

Just tell them you worked at xerox and show them your Lean 6ix Sigma yellow belt. They’ll hire you on the spot and send all the other applicants home.

110 Union folks from Webster. I'm sure supervisors and other manufacturing salary workers will get caught up in this $hit show also.

The layoffs will continue to follow the revenue decline. 15% was only Q1. Based on this weeks earnings release, expect another material action shortly, probably focusing on manufacturing and admin. Look at a graph of the last 10 years revenue. This is a serious situation. Way past resume time.
