Thread regarding T-Mobile layoffs

DEI and Age a Layoff Concern

Why does the moderator keep pulling commentary on DEI, Age and Layoffs? Pressure from the HR team at T-Mobile? Mikey doesn't like info and putting pressure on the website? T-Mobile Legal threatening action?

T-Mobile uses DEI as a filter for layoff and hiring. That's a fact. Average age of those laid off in the 5000 last year was 45+. These are FACTS that T-Mobile doesn't want to discuss.

E-Staff looking to cut more and more employees and get their numbers "right" so they can maximize the value of the E-Staff's restricted shares, employees be darned.

I find it extremely funny how the only ones who support DEI are those who benefit from it. Instead of considering qualifications, the company is concerned with filling the staff with minorities and freaks who are more of a burden than assets. Glad I’m no longer working at this sh-t hole.

45+ means nothing when they raised the age of retirement due to inflation to 90 because nobody can afford anything and people are rejoining the workforce.

DEI does not apply to the Execs, if you haven’t noticed. Only for the plebs, to keep them fighting amongst themselves.

I think you need to thank the childish keyboard warriors for that one.
There aren’t many rules this page has listed in its footer, it basically comes down to this: don’t name non-public figures, don’t drop f-bo--s, and don’t hurl personal insults at individuals or groups. It's the common decency that we try to teach our first graders, so one would say that's not that hard to follow. But no, every single time a DEI topic is raised and race and ethnicity issues get mentioned, within minutes a bunch of ugly childish comments appear.
From a mods point of view, it’s probably easier to shut down the whole thread rather than sift through what to keep and what to delete, and I honestly can't say that I blame them for that.

Yes the DEI culture at magenta is another level of insanity. And if you don’t fit in that category they make it hard as he-l to make any career moves
