Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Hub employees whining about RTO = lol

Cry us a river. The real pain starts in between the waves, when the tripled work loads starts to compress your stress.

I tell you what, I've never seen a bigger bunch of whiners than the hub folks. Dallas especially. Entitled brats.

I think what the op means to say here, is that the complaints about going into the office pale in comparison to someone being laid off for failing to make a pointless move across the company. Personally I can’t wait for 2/3 of the company to get canned, so that the value of my worth increases. See ya OP

Latest employee count does not mean to much. It was stated in a town hall but the talent Zara that there is so much turnover with front line employees that T hires 30k-40k employees a year.

They hate us cause they ain’t us. It’s ok guys, we still support you no matter what. It’s ok, I know your job requires you to actually physically be there, ours does not, and that’s why we think it’s stupid. I speak with no one face to face, everything is a teams meeting. I can do that from anywhere. It is absolutely asinine for us to drive over an hour into an office to do that. I can do that from home.

Well schmuck, both can be true if you either a) have a bad quality of life commute or b) are being asked to relocate with no real incentive on top of the 3x workload your are forecasting.

How about a tad bit of empathy (which you will appreciate when your time comes).
