It is redundant, everything the media produces is a psyop.
Why are you calling it a "media psyop"?
Can I hope to be laid off by end of 2024...so I don't have to RTO full time??
Unfortunately, employees can't leave for jobs that don't exist. This is an employers' market, for now.
RTO mandates are just corporate sponsored storage wars. You need butts in the seats to get those occupancy levels up to insure that never ending stream of taxpayer funded subsidies that ultimately trickles up to the top of house. How do you all think we fund Charlie’s 30 million dollar payday? We’re not profitable. We’re under an asset cap. Let’s make everyone sit in an office, wasting their time, gas, and health so we can pay the hatchet guy. It’s corporate math 2024.🤷🏻
The current executives in NYC looks at the "we'll leave if forced to return!" data as GOOD news. They want to get rid of the domestic workforce, preferably without paying severance. People quiting is music to their ears.
Let us contrast that with the following:

'“By the end of 2024, executives will be forced to admit their RTO mandates did not improve productivity,” read the top-line prediction from Annie Dean, longtime flexible work evangelist and head of Team Anywhere at software firm Atlassian.'

'Almost four years since the coronavirus pandemic sent people to work from home in record numbers, U.S. employers are still struggling to get people back to the office. The power struggle between employees pushing for flexibility and employers trying to reel workers back has manifested in employee walkouts, corporate threats and even mass resignations. Now, new research from the Katz Graduate School of Business at the University of Pittsburgh suggests that office mandates may not help companies’ financial performances, but they can make workers less satisfied with their jobs and work-life balance.'

That's ok, I don't care about advancement beyond where I already am!
