Thread regarding L3Harris Technologies layoffs

Sold to Kanders & Co.

Besides all of the homelessness and gang violence in California, are there any benefits of moving to California?

Dude, you sound like a scared wimp. Are you afraid of cities? California has a per capita GDP of $100,000, behind the notable hellholes of New York ($110,000), Massachusetts ($106,000), and Washington State (103,000) but we'll above the paradise states of Texas ($85,000) and Florida ($71,000). If you go by median income, California is still #5.

It's not without it's problems - affordable housing being a massive one - but if you think it is overrun by gang violence and homeless you need to see more of the USA.

The businesses are part of the space and airborne systems segment of L3Harris and have about 375 employees.

Despite all the downsides California is a beautiful place and you can't beat the climate. But to move there you need to be a professional athlete or maybe own one of these private equity firms.

Still does not mention any specific segment by name.
