Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

What to do with old stuff

Once we are gone, what are you going to do with your wells stuff. The lucite cubes for years of service, pins , coins.

maybe box it up and send it all back once the severance is up maybe. burn it. who knows.

I would ship all this stuff to Shart, but considering that he wants to destroy the soul of the company so he can rebuild it in his evil image, it would probably bring a smile to his face if he ever saw it (which he wouldn't, some lackie takes care of his mail). FHY / FCS.

I have almost 20 ponies and two of the old hand made stagecoach models, a small and a large. I threw everything else away. What should I do with the stagecoaches? They used to be worth a couple hundred bucks.

Trashed most of it, including a 35yos cube. Ponies were donated as dog toys. Smashed glasses, coffee mugs and other glass junk. Felt good to say FU Shart and company.

Always thought the WF acrylic cubes were stress-managing throw toys.

It’s a shame what this company has become.
I was somewhat proud to get my first swag when I started 7 years ago, but now I cringe when I see the logo.
There is zero incentive to go above. Those recognition postcards don’t mean anything when they track how many are given out. Now managers just meet their quotas and send out meaningless accolades.

Yeah.... got tired of the environment and after 29 years of being a company wh*re, I tossed a lot of my wells junk in the trash, kept documents and needed for my job stuff.

but, after they tossed me, it ALL went in the trash. I am still cleaning my house and finding wells branded junk.......................

sigh

People actually keep that stuff? I’ve thrown every piece of WF “swag” I’ve ever gotten directly in the garbage.

I’ve already purged the logo stuff this past year, in anticipation of getting displaced.

The only thing I’ve kept are the genuine e-cards from people I respect. I figure those kind words may come in handy on a gloomy day in the future when WF is in my rear view mirror.

Send all the WF swag to CS at Hudson Yards or his home. This way he can see the impacts and bring the numbers from a spreadsheet into focus and see the real impact. Same for TK , send all the swag back to her home with notes attached .

My mom collected the plush ponies and some WF ornaments. She has passed, so I am only keeping those for sentimental reasons.

You kept that stuff? I never did. I just found a couple old ID badges in the bottom of a laptop case I was giving to charity - I threw those away also.

I have several of the plush ponies from over the years. I will probably sell those on eBay because there is a decent collector’s market for them.

Anything paper will get shredded. Anything else goes right in the trash.

I wish I was the level of petty it would take to directly mail it back to CS’s office

Just threw away all my stuff.. Top Performer Award, Gold coins, etc. With shared seating I have no way to keep it with me or display it. No one cares as recognition programs like that no longer exist. No one cares that I have pushed hard to be a great employee. No one.

I took ponies and some other swag to a banker at the branch.
