Charlie playing with our medical plans

Anyone else have their life completely destroyed because of Charlie playing with our medical plans. I had my meds changed and its caused my life to turn upside down. I've had to take tons of time off finding new doctors, having my medicines changed incorrectly, a dozen pharmacy errors. We have 3rd world medical at this company, its total garbage.

For those displaced, you may need to call for retroactive COBRA coverage enrollment after your severance ends. Currently, that information isn't distributed quickly if you are actively using your coverage after it ends.

I am happier a doctor not previously covered is now. I hated Aetna. Blue cross is better to me. There are winners and losers with every change. I am sorry you are suffering.

Indeed higher copays $40 I/o $25, and higher deductible 30%. Had to get new docs. Same doc is now a tier II. Tier I docs don't accept new patients. One is now not covered at all. Depends where you are located. Hubs got a sweet deal of lower expenses. Outlier areas, that will be cut, are higher than last year.

If you like your doctor, you can keep them.

Making up lies? Some of us have very complex health issues. I can see being a healthy person and being unaffected or even like the changes to our provider but this is not the experience people with issues like cancer, autoimmune disorders, etc have when insurance is changed. A new insurance company means maybe treatment is denied or you’re forced to jump through the same hoops you already did before. Which takes time and means you suffer throughout the duration. It also means taking a lot of time off work to see doctors and complete those steps/recheck boxes.

I understand completely. FHY, but as someone else noted, this is the state of Healthcare in America. The change in our Prescription Benefit Management providers was a poorly communicated cost saving move.

Actually medical for hra co pay is MUCH better than last year. Lower deductible. Lower OOP max. And all my allergy shots are covered 100% for some reason. Including vials. So yeah not sure what poster is referring to

The OP and every negative response are laughable trash propaganda that don’t even make sense. You can focus on the truth and trash the company easy enough instead of making up lies about the benefits coverages.

Yes! Major issues last year. Surgery approved, then they refused to pay afterwards. Med I have been on for years suddenly denied, appealed and still denied. WF is self insured, so it’s Shart and his policies and not just healthcare in America. Now I’ve lost my primary care doc.

I’m sorry you’re going through it. I’m currently stuck going through step therapy to hopefully be reapproved for a medication I’ve been on for YEARS. I’ve tried all these dr-gs I’m required to go through 5 years ago and they don’t work for me. It’ll take me approx 6-9 months of futilely stepping until I get to what I need. Even then who knows if United will ultimately approve the dr-g that works.
