Thread regarding U.S. Bank layoffs

Senior leadership and your voice matter

Will they listen to us when they see so much strongly disagree?

Respond to the survey. Mark everything as the worst score you can.

Quit telling people to not take the survey. During survey conversations the senior leaders brush over the 'engagement' percentage very quickly and go straight to the results.

They can't take action on fewer people taking surveys. They can take action if we tell them when/where/why it su-ks (although they won't).

Management hates their employees. Every possible job the can be off shored will be. Their dream is to make you quit, without a package. I never take the survey because it's a total waste of time.

@jhfe+1rnRSC3l so true! The current Site Director and Molly would Never take ownership for the dumpster fire they have turned 24 hour banking in to. I feel bad for the few managers they have left, and that they are being help to impossible standards.

The challenge with the survey is at times your direct manager will be held accountable for the feedback, when really it’s a senior or upper leadership issue. In 24 hour banking if the feedback is bad, it’s because of you (the manager). If it’s good, it’s because you aren’t doing the right things to create accountability as a manager.

It’s a good question because lots of people wonder. The answer is no. Management knows what’s going on. It’s one way to reduce staff without layoff expenses. Also I think Andy gets $$$ from the mayor (tax breaks and corporate financial incentives) for butts in seats supposedly resulting in lunch spending. Ugh I hate it…more emissions and plastic waste unfortunately. But no one cares hardly.

Yes, many people are frustrated and some will quit. That is actually desired. Management wants happy workers close to hubs.

The minority not close to the office or not happy going to the office have valid reasons to quit.

Yes it’s sad and I wish it were better. Expect morale to go down until the staff has been cleansed of RTO haters. I’m one of them. I need to quit or adjust my attitude.

The best option is probably to not even reply to TTUS. The only thing they care about is participation.

Your immediate management are tasked with the action plans, and most anything you would complain about, including RTO, is out of your immediate managers hands.

Back in the old days, when a child had committed an offense that merited corporal punishment he/she was sent into the woods to "cut a switch". Basically the child was directed to cut a branch from a tree and bring it back, and the adult would then use it to beat them until they agreed to alter their behavior. That's what this survey is.

I am getting the impression that the company is in big trouble.

Andy is selling his stock and they are working hard on getting people to quit.

I think @ufy+1rnRSC3l post was an irony
Bottom line: Management will evaluate your grammar before listening to you (and probably won't even listen)

Re: @ufy+1rnRSC3l

Not everyone speaks English as a first language. How many languages do you speak?

To start, please review your grammar before posting or your comments will be immediately dismissed as irrelevant. As a follow up to your poorly worded title and content, no, leadership will not listen to your whining. Good luck with your career.
