Thread regarding Commscope Inc. layoffs

Commscope can't pay bonuses NO MONEY

Looks like my previous post was taken down... I'm glad it made SLT uncomfortable!!!

Commscope is skipping bonuses and probably the next cost of living adjustment too!!!

While the hr boss tells you that is a personal choice to work here, but she cashes in several millions!!! And probably a fat bonus too! Plus a parachute

When you think Moral can't go any lower, it will. Like our stock!!!

We are now a dollar stock! In less than a few years slt sunk this company to the bottom.

Sunk employees to the bottom.

Sunk shareholders to the bottom.

While HR is here cancelling posts, the employees they are supposed to take care of, are loosing their livelihood !!

No one gives employees the middle finger harder than Commscope!!

There are quite a number of people I hear talking about the CommScope share prices jumping back up, as if they're so heavily invested that they're in the money. It's absolutely laughable. Right now they are considered a penny stock! Though I suppose it's better than being a laughing stock!

Is it just me thinking this or does Chuck and Kyle have some plan to bring the company to the ground so that they can load up on more CommScope shares, and then rinse the profits as they come back up?

@cqak+1rlmw59J Their "deep commitment" is reflected in the fact that they never moved to Hickory.

Lost all motivation. Dread any townhall or departmental meetings as its all gloom.plus looks like they want people back to offices 5 days a week.probably no merit increase this year and meagre bonus ( depending on location and department). Next they be wanting employees to work for free!!!

I think cash is going to become a real problem. Q1 ebitda forecast has fallen off a cliff. We must be bleeding money to pay bankers and lawyers huge fees to deal with our debt problem. So get ready for cost cuts.

Was witness to an email going to CCS employees stating from April 1st, US based employees are to return to office.

They're working out plans for employees everywhere else to follow suit.

Not received anything myself by email but heard of these plans as my manager informed me of the intentions. Again, this was just an informal chat a few days before seeing an email. Communications within the company are not a strong point.

I can imagine this news will go down like a lead balloon with people who may have gotten used to a degree of flexibility never seen before prior to COVID.

Think of those who may be moved around locations since COVID and adjusted plus made life choices based on their flexible working arrangements.

Don't think this will impact fully remote employees, just those on flexible working arrangements.

None of the above comes as a surprise. Think it was going to happen at some point and will be a real kick in the teeth to many. As another poster had said, this is a tactic used to really bring people down, making them think to get out, so CommScope can avoid paying the employee off.

Thing is, CommScope has a lot of employees globally who have been with the company through acquisitions meaning many consecutive years of service, and not many of them will want to wave goodbye to any possibility of a pay out should redundancy come about. So those people will either have to get out, or su-k it up and accept it.

When was the announcement about in the office 5 days a week? I’ve heard nothing.

Last post is 100% spot on. For those on lower salaries the 1% bonus is insult. Expect no merit increase and dragging people back 5 days a week into offices when can work remote (cs have no integrity as will cause extra financial hardship on those already struggling).
It's all to make people leave and avoid any payouts. Thought the place couldn't get any lower but it has.
No one gives a sh%t anymore and the high earners have their heads in the clouds.

For those on annual bonus, 1% of salary is correct for their bonus this time round. Quite a difference to many high earners from the usual 10%. For the lower earners on annual bonus, it's an insult.

No compensation for this year it looks like too, while inflation continues. Two years running now and they're expecting more for less, something for nothing.

Meanwhile, they're expecting people to carry on as before, giving their all to a lost cause. Seriously, they cannot expect that anyone is happy with this.

Oh and to top it off, now they want employees back in the office 5 days a week, so more cost to those already struggling.

No point in bonuses.has been a major insult what has been issued.
Bare minimum bonus=bare minimum effort now!!
want to see what slt get as it will show exactly how they look after themselves. Sooner they carve up this company the better or even offer redundancy if that lucky. Its a complete joke

Bonus numbers are already out ! And my coworkers got funded 10% of their bonus so... If your bonus is 10% you get 10% founded aka 1% bonus!

Haven't heard of a single person getting 120% !!!!

Precious poster is full of it!

Payroll says they’re processing bonuses for mid-March. Low payouts for most. Higher for only one business.

Think they will pay bonus otherwise they’ll have people walking on mass. Although at $0.97 a share……….

I have seen the results and all business units' bonuses will be notably low except for NICS (Ruckus). This discrepancy arises from the method of bonus calculation, where business results significantly influence the overall contribution. Underperforming businesses may only receive around 10% of the anticipated bonus, whereas NICS will receive over +120% of the expected bonus for the highly commendable employees and beyond. Even the HOME guys, now at Vantiva, will receive low bonuses calculated by CommScope because HOME was also underperforming during 2023.

First, I'm not your buddy. Now that such is clear, the post had no 4 letter words.

Mingle HR team is know for posting or requesting posts to be taken down.

Your assumption that it was not HR is as valid as mine, that it was.

If you haven't even seen what it was posted before, why bother piping up?

I'm sure it violated some rules, but that is not the point of the post other than...

SLT sc--wd things up and now our stock is worth 1.2 bucks, employees lost their jobs and the employees left lost their benefits!

You fail to understand the main complaint.

Again, NOT your buddy !!

Buddy, HR doesn’t have any influence over the content posted here. Haven’t seen what you posted originally, but if it had four-letter wording or insults, chances are site moderators deleted it for content rule violation.
