Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Are Sr. Tech Managers and Technology Directors affected?

Does anyone know if Sr. Managers and Technology Directors who are remote will be affected by IT Location Strategy? There are a bunch of them our team reports to. Or does this apply just to people who actually do the work?

Exceptions are always given to those that play the skin flute.

Before he left, SVB passed down an edict that all managers had to RTO. This happened many quarters back. I wouldn't doubt there are exceptions in the mix though.

Our group has already started to weed out Sr managers. You can sometimes like in teamwork’s and see the who is reporting to who. I seen a couple instances of directors reporting to Sr managers.

Oh it’s not just in Tech.

I was shocked to see how many Sr Mgrs and Directors are remote. Even more crazy are the job postings explicitly stating my work in office 3 days per work from a hiring manager who is REMOTE!

Manager are special creatures here at the bank. They don't fall under worker rules.

Titles do not transcend transition, this will apply to all downstream from the King.
