Yes...PTO. Since Covid is not nor ever was a real issue, it is treated as a common cold so take time accordingly. Condolences to the poor subjects that were so weak they took the juice, your days are numbered if you have not opened your eyes just yet. Get right with the Lord is my advice to you, numbered are the days of your lives.

I want to have paid “Call in Well” days where we don’t have to use PTO.

“I’m feeling too good today to waste it on WF, so I won’t be coming in.”

I was told we couldn't "make up" office days. For example, if your RTO requirement is 3 days in office, you can't work 1 day in office, then all 5 days the next week to make up for it.

But of course, any time you use 4 hours or more of PTO on a day, it counts as an in-office day for the purposes of the report. So if you are out sick, those days shouldn't count against you.

Covid sick days are a thing of the past. It now falls under regular sick days. If you can’t work then you take a PTO day. Even the CDC guideline are expected to change soon to 1 day unless you have a fever. It’s the same approach as the flu.

I was told that if you don’t go in one week due to being sick (but still work), you have to “make up your office time”. Considering a lot of people are barely sick when they have covid, I see a lot of sick people coming in when sick and not wanting to make it up.

No one seems to have had their booster in the last 60 days. I guess it wasn't a big deal after all.

These are type of posts that justify layoffs for not other reason than to thin the herd

In Teamworks, the Covid sick days are nestled between “seasonal flu sick days” and “someone hurt my feelings sick days”.

Such dismissive treatment of the worst disease in human history!

we no longer have covid sick days. if you are too sick to work because you have COVID or any other illness then take a sick day or a PTO day, in states where it matters a sick day will subtract off your accrued PTO, no one is getting any extra days. the only benefit to classifying it as sick instead of PTO is in cases where you get in trouble for unexcused absences, in which case a sick day is protected.
