Brevard tech office in Charlotte looks like you stepped into a mostly male mini Hyderabad.

Worker bees in the top 6 locations that is the grand plan—roles will only post in those locations at some point …other locations kept on the list for handling exception's for filling roles as talent is constrained…-director plus stays where they are—too
Old to move !!!

@1zpz

Can't speak for the other ocations but I doubt there's more 75 people that report up to TK in DC. They have building right across from a Chase building if I recall correctly. There's probably more people in tech that used work in FDK office that was closed, hard to tell though.

So funny- the first thing I noticed was the India locations mentioned first. Oops. Freudian slip. If tech is majority in India get ready for some massive sc-w ups. The team I work with couldn’t be worse if they tried. I actually think it’s a game for the folks in India. How can we be as unhelpful and bad as possible and not get fired.

NY, SF, Chicago, DC, and Boston are expensive as he-l. If avoiding expensive markets is the plan, they failed miserably.

I&P was probably mentioned first on purpose. Previously, only apps that had limited upstream/downstream impacts were allowed to be fully managed in an international market, but now you see ‘run-the-bank’ type apps moving to fully managed internationally. Domestic locations are absolutely transitioning to secondary markets.

  1. specialty hub is crazy idea or it is intentional to get rid of the folks in those places without paying severance.
  2. St. Louis use to have lot of technology team members from Wellsfargo advisors. May be they are going to sell that business and shutdown the office in future.
  3. Managers in Specialty hub will try to hire in their location first. Will HR prevent that? There must be hidden agenda here. May be all specialty hub managers are going to be laid off in coming wave. If your supervisor is not in the building, you are not going to be monitored .
  4. It is waste of time applying to those jobs if they list any specialty hub. U may be forced to quit.
  5. One thing is for sure, they are consolidating the technology folks to outsource to a vendor in coming years. Keep that in mind.

The funniest thing is that they actually mention I&P. No other LOB has done that. It was just understood.

But wait, not only did they mention it, they mentioned it first and made it sound like the US locations are secondary.

That was a terrible communication

So Ohio is some JPMC preferential treatment, WF workers don't stand a chance.

Columbus, OH is an outlier on the list, what influenced that decision?

India locations have been around a long time so those shouldn’t be a surprise.

Red bs blue state means nothing. It’s about access to tech resources and legacy hubs.

This will su-k for a bunch of people.

Apparently Math isn’t a forte of some. Locations were in 7 red states and 9 blue states from last Presidential election.

Welp, there you have it: India and red states. Hard to argue that they're not valuing cheap labor over quality at this point.
