There are only 150 technology team members in Columbus, Ohio. What's going on behind the scenes that qualifies this market to be labeled a "Core Location" going forward? Who's greasing who?

Great reason to head home, consider it a blessing, but your location is very much in the minority. My location is core and never even hits 25% capacity, let alone 100%.

Not true. My location is over capacity. By noon yesterday there were zero unoccupied desks.

If you are in a core U.S. location your position still might be eliminated due to “efficiency” or transitioned to India.

There are no locations to close to capacity that they can't handle the very small number of people that would be willing to move for this garbage executive team. Nice try. They are Fing lying and everyone knows it. It's not a location strategy, it's a domestic worker elimination strategy.

I am located in the Swiss Alps and will relocate my family and neighbors to India because oh the people are so genuine and the most beautiful place in the world if you don’t mind filth and poor sanitary conditions. I think Wells Fargo should focus on having people answer the phones to customers with a decent command of the English language spoken in a not Indian american dialect just good old American English. of course you can't self move. they are working on locations based on who is currently in those markets. if people start flooding in there will be no room. additionally, one has never been allowed to self move without getting permission. having had employees years ago who moved to different markets they need my permission and thath of our senior managers.

Apparently the strategist here does not have problem moving our jobs 7000 miles away (not to mention all the risks associated with it viz, chaos, un-stability, business dis-continuity, unsecularity, caste discrimination, wars, division politics, lies )

True, Tech in CIC (Charlotte) and SF just got hit with a round of layoffs recently.

Don't be tempted to think your job is "safe" if you're in a hub location or specialty market. This is the beginning of the end.

Markets with few WF tech employees will be prioritized first. If you are remote in BFE then you’ll be in the first wave.

Can I be the first to say tech is affected?

This will cause a bunch of disruption especially to relative new hires that are not in core cities or remotes near core cities. I heard there are tech people in a few hundred locations. But that’s got to be international plus local support for things. Going to take close to two years? Weird.

Just got my email a little bit ago…how kind of TK for thanking us for everything we do to support our colleagues, business partners, and customers…one deaf much?? I feel so motivated.
