I'm assuming what the answer is, but it doesn't hurt to check.

All of this including the HCL fiasco translates into a bad customer experience...and customers turning elsewhere......how sad..
Started today in service
HCL issues from the XBS perspective are because we had customized our invoicing to be client forward with each core using slight variations on that theme.
When the transition to HCL was interrupted by Covid (literally two weeks before the team's depature to train HCL) it created a terribly difficult situation that has really never been addressed.
The resulting client issues have been absolutely awful and have created an adversarial situation within the sales and clients versus accounting and HCL departments where none existed in the old Core based regime.
While some of this woukd have occured regardless of Covid, the lack of clean handoff has created a terribly chaotic situation from a foundational strength with XBS - The ability to address and wrap customized solutions around client invoicing requirements. It was the epitome of the GISX motto of "Think globally. Act locally."
that client's appreciated with their wallets.
So even if it the situation had been perfectly implemented, from my POV, any money saved has been lost in sales efficiency and client goodwill.
Expected them EVERY week at Xerox
HCL Guatemala 💯
My collegues and I are having a very differnet experience than you all with HCL. We have angry customers with inexplicable billing issues, difficulting getting accounts set up, invoices that go out with no rhyme or reason to them. Contracts that are difficult to find. Sidekick. There was seemingly little integration when XBS went on its buying spree os companies like Lewan and never took the time to get the info into our system. Then handed over to HCL who many people can't even get on the phone losing customers right and left. I am happy to hear someone is having a good experience with them but our team is not.
GEMS is locked to put in bonuses. 2+2=5. What would you guys do differently if you knew exactly who was being let go and and when? The answer is the same as what you always do, nothing.
don’t know about the expectations of WE
But i am.
Only a fool would think otherwise.
HCL is amazing! Their stock has tripled since pandemic! Looks like there’s good money in outsourcing American jobs to India. Too bad they trade in rupees…what’s a rupee?
HCL is so cost effective that the savings are worth the trouble.
Do we think this next layoff affects Xerox XBS (Texas, NM, CO, WY, AZ?) or the people who work for corporate? Does anyone else agree that HCL is a nightmare that is costing us big with its inefficiencies? Why do they not talk more about how HCL has been a mess?
Agree with previous commenter. Looks like 2-28 and 2-29 are D-day. Just like when we get MIP they don’t want us to see our raises early GEMS will be down for that week.
Just saw a banner on the homepage that GEMS will be offline from the 28th at 8pm until the 29th at 8 pm. Connect the dots.
