I recently got laid off from Wells Fargo, and now I am looking for a new gig elsewhere. But I am aware that there is still a huge stigma attached to the laid-off employees. Does Wells Fargo disclose the reason for termination to our next employers?

This is a duplicate thread. There is another one (the original thread) out there already.
Are you sure you didn’t get fired and are asking if you say “laid off” will they find out?
That is a horrible attitude, OP, that will hurt you in your job search. There is not a huge stigma against laid off employees (involuntarily terminated without cause). Even if you are terminated for cause, let them believe it was without cause. People wrongly treat being laid off as a criminal conviction sometimes.
OP here. I don't know why, but this is a duplicate post that suddenly showed up. Sorry for the inconvenience, but please ignore.
